Burning Sky follows Willa Obenchain, formerly abducted by Mohawk Indians and renamed, as she returns to her family's frontier homestead after twelve years. Confronted with a changed landscape, her missing parents, and the complexities of her past and present relationships, Willa finds herself torn between two worlds amid post-Revolutionary tensions. As she navigates cultural divides and personal losses, she must summon the courage to embrace new possibilities of love and belonging.
