An experimental joint NSA/CIA school inadvertently unleashes a wave of paranormal abilities among its students, with some developing telepathy, psychokinesis, and levitation. As these powers spread beyond the school, authorities move to suppress them, but a few talented individuals go into hiding, while others, including dangerous criminals, begin to harness their abilities for darker purposes. With the emergence of powerful ESP practitioners and armed forces, former allies must confront a rogue esper who sees himself as a god, risking a battle that could reshape the world.
