Saint of the Narrows Street

Set in 1986 Brooklyn, this story follows Risa Franzone, a loving mother whose quiet life is shattered when a violent incident leads her to kill her abusive husband. In the aftermath, she and her sister Giulia conceal the truth, enlisting the help of a trusted friend, Chooch, to keep their secret. Over the following eighteen years, they navigate the complexities of their lives in a tight-knit Italian neighborhood, confronting the consequences of their choices as secrets begin to surface.
