Fifth-grader Patrick Lowe struggles with reading due to past negative experiences, leading him to believe he's not intelligent. With the help of his new neighbor Celina, who shares captivating stories with him, Patrick begins to discover a love for adventure and imagination. When a challenge arises to read aloud in front of his classmates, Patrick must confront his fears and challenge his perceptions of himself.
