Heartbreak in the Valleys

Set in a Welsh mining village during November 1915, this story follows young housemaid Anwen Rhys as she navigates a difficult life caring for her family and supporting her community amidst the chaos of the Great War. When her childhood sweetheart returns from battle with changes he can't ignore, Anwen faces emotional challenges, especially after a devastating explosion at the mine.
