The Body Under the Sands

"The Body Under The Sands" is a unique post-World War I murder mystery set in the fictional seaside town of Birtleby. The story follows two returning soldiers whose summer takes a dark turn after a girl is found murdered on the seafront, leading to their wrongful suspicion and eventual conviction based on circumstantial evidence. Inspector Blades and CI David Walker from Scotland Yard are determined to uncover the truth, questioning whether the accused men are truly responsible for the crime.
