Blood Will Be Born

DI Owen Sheen, on loan from the Met, travels to Ireland to assist with a new Historical Offences Team, where he is partnered with DC Aoife McCusker on her first murder investigation. As the case unfolds, Sheen grapples with questions surrounding his brother’s death and a recent escapee, IRA veteran John Fryer, whom he suspects of involvement. The investigation challenges Sheen to set aside personal motives and focus on justice.
