In rural Iceland, several goose hunters are mysteriously found shot dead, prompting detectives Gunnar Maríuson and Birkir Hinriksson to investigate. As leads run cold, a threatening letter arrives, escalating the case and leading the detectives on a dangerous chase to uncover the killer known as "the Gander." With lives at stake and time running out, they must decipher the connection between the victims and unravel the twisted game behind the murders.
