Virginia "Ginger" Lightley is the owner of Coreyville Coffee Cakes, a beloved bakery in East Texas known for its unique treats. The tranquility of her small town is shattered when a customer collapses and dies after enjoying one of her cakes, prompting the newly appointed police chief to investigate.
