The Damnation of Theron Ware

Theron Ware, a young Methodist pastor in the Adirondack Mountains, begins to question his faith, his role, and the existence of God as he encounters new intellectual and artistic influences through his diverse acquaintances. His interactions with a Catholic priest, a scientist, and an Irish musician shape his awakening, but also lead to disappointment from those around him, ultimately prompting him to leave his pastoral role for new ambitions in Seattle.
