Darius and the village of Hearthway are preparing for winter, but Dar must look ahead to spring and the looming threat of war. As military recruiters arrive from Kindrake, he considers severing ties with the Kingdom by seeking the White and uniting his village under her banner. His journey leads him to unexpected encounters, including Valdis, a key figure in Lilith’s circle, and an encounter with a Death Spirit that may hold the key to resolving long-standing issues.
