The Starlings of Bucharest

Ted dreams of being a legitimate journalist instead of a film critic, and his journey begins in Bucharest where he is set to interview a famous film director. However, he soon suspects the director may be an imposter and becomes embroiled in a captivating mystery involving a missing girl, guided by his local contact, Vasile. As Ted travels to Moscow for the 1975 International Film Festival, the intrigue grows, leading him to navigate a web of dubious favors and unexpected challenges.
