When 16-year-old Izzy Brown receives a scholarship to the exclusive Bardo Academy, she finds herself adjusting to a new life in Florida’s secretive community, accompanied by her supportive new boyfriend. As she joins the school newspaper to pursue her dream of becoming a journalist, Izzy partners with Elton, a local with autism, to investigate the mysterious death of a former football star.
