Raving Violet

In "Raving Violet," Valerie Gilbert invites listeners into her quirky and tumultuous life as a solitary New Yorker navigating a landscape filled with eccentric characters, from perverted reverends to cheese thieves. As a divorced metaphysician orphaned at a young age, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery through philosophers, séances, and mediums, all while searching for love, laughter, and a taste of life’s richness. With humor and sass, Gilbert's true tales explore themes of love, loss, and the quest for connection amidst chaos.
