Set in 1940 France amid the chaos of WWII, this story follows Portuguese diplomat Aristides de Sousa Mendes, who faces a moral crisis when ordered to deny visas to thousands of refugees. Over three intense days, he authorizes thirty thousand visas, risking his career and reputation to save lives. The narrative explores the profound consequences of choosing to do what is right in a world built to suppress that choice.
