The Warlord of Mars

"The Warlords of Mars" completes Edgar Rice Burroughs’ action-packed Barsoom Trilogy, following John Carter’s daring efforts to rescue Dejah Thoris from captivity in the northern polar regions of Mars. During his adventure, Carter encounters the Yellow Martians of Okar and joins a rebellion against the tyrant Salensus Oll, leading to an invasion by the Heliumite fleet. The story culminates in the defeat of prominent villains and Carter being declared “Warlord of Barsoom” by his allies.
