Mimic in the Vale

After the retaking of High Castle, Father Nigel faces his greatest threat yet: an approaching army led by a powerful and evil Talented man capable of raising the dead. He believes he must enlist a specific Talented woman, Tebbriel, who has been hesitant to join the fight, to help defend the Vale. As Tebbriel navigates her role as bodyguard and trainer for an elderly man at High Castle, she questions whether she can endure her confinement with the promise of freedom at the conflict’s end.
