The Future

In a unique alternate history where Detroit was never surrendered to the US, The Future explores a city grappling with pollution, poverty, and the echoes of racism, all while children establish their own kingdom high in the trees. When Gloria searches for her missing granddaughters, she navigates a landscape filled with magical elements and community resilience, relying on the generosity of neighbors and the wisdom she uncovers in the woods of Parc Rouge. This lyrical tale emphasizes the strength found in community and the enduring power of love in uncertain times.
