Oregon Travail

In The Vengeance Trail, Kit Carson encounters the aftermath of a savage massacre of a Shoshone group by the Blackfeet, leaving behind maimed victims and a crying baby. While trying to rescue the infant, he becomes entangled with the grieving Shoshone, who are driven by a desire for retribution.
