Lars, a desert-born young man skilled with a sword, embarks on a journey across the sea to Mundir after his mother's passing, hoping to uncover his family and inheritance. In a land where gods grant magical powers, Lars's unintended prayer to the god of death triggers a dangerous quest as minions are sent to claim his soul. Along the way, he teams up with new friends, including a man with mysterious technology, to unravel his mother's secrets and survive the perilous challenges ahead.
