Mounted By the Cowboys

In "My Name is Chris," the protagonist, Chris, a waiter at the Silver Coin Saloon in the rough town of Montacket, finds his mundane life upended when two striking men, Kurt and Clover, enter the bar. Just as he's captivated by their attention, he is thrust into danger as a trio of bandits takes him hostage. After a harrowing encounter, mysterious werewolves Kurt and Clover intervene, striking a deal with a river spirit to save him, but at a cost that Chris is eager to accept.
