Gabriella and Evangelia Betarrini are two teenagers who discover they can travel back in time to fourteenth-century Italy, where they experience historic battles and romance. After returning to the present to save their father, they are faced with the challenge of going back again, this time to a dangerous medieval world threatened by war and the Black Plague. As they navigate these perilous adventures, they must decide how much they are willing to risk for love and family.
