The Point of Honor

Set against the backdrop of the Napoleonic Wars, this story follows two French Hussar officers, D'Hubert and Feraud, whose minor dispute evolves into a prolonged and intense rivalry spanning fifteen years. Their ongoing duel, driven by a clash of honor and pride, reflects a deeper exploration of personal conflict amid historical turmoil. Inspired by real events, the narrative was adapted into a 1977 film, "The Duellists."
