The Reliance

Captain Edmund Merrick, blaming God for his wife’s presumed death, finds himself ensnared by a demented French pirate and must fight to escape and reunite with his mutinous crew. Meanwhile, Charlisse, kidnapped by her arch-enemy, takes command of her husband's old pirate crew to confront him after uncovering his new life of piracy and infidelity. Both stories explore themes of captivity, revenge, and redemption set against a backdrop of treacherous seas and daring adventure.
