Eli is a highly skilled teenage assassin created by witches to hunt ghosts in the human world, but when an assignment goes awry, she begins to question her allegiance and her understanding of her worlds. Fearing punishment from her tyrannical mother and the Coven, she seeks refuge with a group of renegades, determined to prove herself by capturing the Heart of the Coven.
