The Last Engineer

A battle cruiser, stranded in Earth's solar system after a desperate escape from combat, must wait for Earth's technology to develop enough for rescue. As the last engineer, Rahm faces a moral dilemma: repairing the ship could save his crew but might also doom Earth by enabling their fleet's return. Joined by a group of allies, including human and part-Darrk offspring, he struggles to prevent forces from completing repairs that could lead to Earth's destruction. The story explores loyalty, sacrifice, and the complex choices faced in a race against time.
