Soldiers and Slaves

"Soldiers and Slaves" recounts the harrowing story of 350 American POWs, mostly Jews, who were subjected to brutal forced labor at the Berga concentration camp during World War II, in a secret Nazi operation. It highlights their nine-week ordeal of starvation, mistreatment, and death marches, revealing little-known truths about this forgotten chapter of the Holocaust. Through personal stories and meticulous research, the book explores why justice was delayed and how the victims' experiences were buried for decades.
