Herta Tanner, a young Canadian woman, inherits a Bavarian cottage and finds herself with an unusual job—believing she must be a pimp for vampires—while she navigates personal struggles following a difficult divorce. As she tries to 'get her life together,' she faces hostility from the local town of Kochberg, influenced by cultural differences and her family background.
