In this second installment of The Immortals series, Daine, who possesses the wild magic to communicate with animals, is called upon to help a pack of wolves and their community. As she and her mentor Numair arrive in Dunlath Valley, they discover that danger extends beyond the animal world, threatening both land and people due to a local conflict over black opal mining.
