The Comanche Girl's Prayer

Set in 1890, this story follows 19-year-old Soonie Eckhart, who travels to an illegal Comanche and Kiowa settlement in North Texas with a divine calling to teach the children hiding there. Despite her own Comanche roots, she faces hostility from some community members, including a volatile young man named Lone Warrior. An unexpected encounter with a band of dangerous men tests her faith and courage, prompting her to rely on her inner strength to survive.
