After a traumatic separation from the woman she loved, Lou Pearson dedicates herself to training service dogs and rescuing animals, little knowing that one special dog, Caspian, will lead her back to her past. When Caspian finds his way into her life, he guides her to a young girl and her mother, Alice, reviving old memories and deep emotions.
