The Wild Road

Alisanos, the sentient and dangerous deepwood, is a shifting forest home to demons and dark magic, with boundaries that can suddenly change and trap humans within its deadly embrace. Audrun, a human woman, reunites with her children, each marked by the forest’s wild magic, while her newborn remains missing, captured by a winged demon. Her quest to find her infant pits her against monstrous inhabitants and the treacherous nature of the deepwood itself, testing her resilience and wit.
