After experiencing personal tragedy, Atlanta detective Patrick “Tick” Kelly retreats from the world and finds solace in solitude, while ex-agent Kate Rush returns to Miami and becomes involved in an undercover investigation on Mango Key. Initially suspected of involvement in a human trafficking ring, Tick and Kate soon team up to uncover a web of betrayal and greed. As they navigate increasing danger, Tick begins to rediscover hope and the possibility of a second chance at happiness.
