The Salt Eaters

Set in a fictional Southern city, this novel follows a community of Black faith healers as they experience a transformative event. Blending elements of traditional African religion with a nonlinear narrative, the story explores themes of healing, despair, and spiritual responsibility through a diverse cast of characters, some courageous and others frightened, all united by their pursuit of the healing properties of salt.
