Lions of Rome

In a world of political intrigue and clandestine schemes, Rufinus, presumed dead in Dacia, secretly navigates Rome's shadowy corridors alongside Septimius Severus, plotting to overthrow the powerful chamberlain Cleander. Using false identities and working with key Roman figures, Rufinus becomes entangled in a complex conspiracy that threatens to destabilize the empire.
