Geeja believed she faced her greatest threat in a sentient machine named Ka seeking to steal magic and return home, but she soon discovers a darker, infectious evil in her former magical ally. Her search for help leads her to the universe of the Ancients, only to find that their intentions are not as benevolent as she had hoped.
