The Origin and Development of Psychoanalysis

In this collection of five lectures, Sigmund Freud explores the origins and evolution of psychoanalysis, a groundbreaking therapeutic method he developed. Delivered during his 1909 visit to Clark University and later published in 1910, Freud discusses key concepts such as the role of sexual drives in infants, the analysis of dreams and slips, and the influence of unconscious resistance and transference in therapy, offering a foundational overview of his pioneering psychological approach.
