Strangers in the Fog

In a secluded area, Hannigan is in the process of burying what he insists is his dog when he encounters a stranger seeking help to flee from a jealous husband. The atmosphere thickens with tension as reports of an escaped killer from a nearby mental hospital circulate. Their return to Hannigan's home introduces another mysterious figure who poses as a policeman with car troubles. The looming question remains: is one of these men the escaped lunatic?
