After a tragic accident sinks Emile Labresque’s research ship, resulting in the death of a philanthropist and crew members, Emile and his granddaughter Riley St. Joe find themselves in turmoil when Sam, their captain, is later discovered dead, with evidence implicating Emile in murder.
