Corey Curtis, still recovering from injuries sustained in a fall, returns to work in the morgue and is soon called upon to assist with a body recovery and a suspicious death that hits close to home. As her relationship with Dr. Thayer Reynolds deepens, new challenges test her limits and impulsive tendencies, with support from Thayer helping to keep her grounded.
