Trench has lost all memory of his past, including his role as a reporter for the Stoneham Herald, and struggles to find his way back to his previous life. With the help of Old Tom, who provides him with a map and guidance to maintain a sense of normalcy, Trench begins to uncover faint glimmers of his forgotten history. As his memories gradually resurface, he faces the possibility that forgetting might be the best option after all.
