In the charming town of Wilfred, Oregon, new librarian and budding witch Josie Way navigates excitement and peril as A-list movie star Daphne Morris visits for an interview with her friend Roz, an assistant librarian and aspiring novelist. Tensions rise when a murder occurs at a celebratory party, mirroring a plot twist from Roz's book, leading Josie to suspect that her friend is being framed.
