The Giant-Slayer

Set in 1955, The Giant-Slayer follows Laurie Valentine as he tells an imaginative story to his hospitalized friend Dickie, who is battling polio. As Laurie weaves the tale of the giant Collosso and a young hero, Dickie begins to become part of the story himself. When the storytelling ends, Dickie must find his own way to resolve the adventure within himself.
