Shallow Grave

Lazarus Kerrigan, a necromancer and Pale Horseman, finds his life improving after a period of danger, but the past resurfaces when a series of child murders in New Orleans mirror crimes associated with his sister's death. As the case becomes more complex, Laz relies on spirits—including a ghost of a centuries-old pirate—whose warnings suggest the killer might be an extraordinary creature. With the stakes escalating, Laz faces the risk of being overwhelmed by forces beyond his control.
