Deacon Reid, a lifelong outlaw, is determined to give his niece Zig a better life by moving her away from dangerous surroundings and opening an auto shop in Half Moon Bay. When Zig befriends a bookstore owner named Lang Harris, sparks fly, challenging Deacon's safe boundaries. As violence and danger loom, Deacon must protect Zig and navigate new relationships while confronting his past.
