Shortest Night

In the year 1595 during the reign of Good Queen Bess, young Ben Hastings leaves his father's farm to pursue his dreams in London, joining Will Shakespeare's troupe of actors. Under the mentorship of the charming leading man, Hugh Templeton, Ben finds himself entangled in more than just friendship. Complicating matters is Jenny, a clever tavern maid who orchestrates a series of comedic misadventures to protect Ben from Hugh's advances and capture his affection for herself.
