Detectives John Stone and Carmen Dehan, who run the Cold Cases Department, embark on a honeymoon to a remote Scottish island, seeking rest and respite from their work. However, their idyllic getaway takes a mysterious turn when long-buried secrets from a 40-year-old murder surface, and a storm isolates them from help. As a second murder occurs under puzzling circumstances, the couple must confront the island's dark secrets while trying to enjoy their vacation.
