The Irish American Girl

Ellen Tuite, an Irish American reporter and photographer, travels from New York to explore her ancestral homeland in the summer of 1914. As she falls in love with Ireland’s landscape and history, she also finds herself drawn into the events of the time, including the onset of the Great War. Her journey takes her from the Emerald Isle to the Western Front, where she encounters the realities of war.
