The Spectator Bird

Joe Allston, a retired literary agent, finds himself contemplating his life as he waits for time to catch up with him. With no family left and his career behind him, he lives mostly as a spectator until a postcard prompts him to revisit journals from a past journey. As he delves into those memories, layers of time and meaning unfold, revealing that he may not be as detached as he once believed.
