Rothschild's Fiddle

Yakov Ivanov, an elderly coffin-maker in a small village, spends his days crafting coffins and occasionally playing the fiddle with a Jewish klezmer orchestra, despite personal prejudices. When his wife Marfa falls gravely ill, his thoughts turn to their shared past as he prepares her coffin, leading to a profound reflection on life and mortality. Ultimately, his own illness prompts a deep self-examination and a shift in perspective.
